The following BlackMagic devices have been tested and work with ProPresenter and the specified module. Most devices will work with the next feature down in the list. Some of these devices, especially the PCIe cards, are now considered legacy products. To the best of our knowledge, they should still work, but there is a possibility that some no longer work due to not supporting the latest Desktop Video drivers or computer operating systems.
This list applies to all versions of ProPresenter on the Mac platform, and only version 6 of ProPresenter on the Windows platform.

Black Magic Ultrastudio 3d Driver Machine
UltraStudio HD Mini includes 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs for edit monitoring. Plus the 3G-SDI outputs are dual link so you can output separate fill and key to live switchers. The inputs include 3G-SDI as well as Y,Cr,Cb analog component or NTSC/PAL inputs, along with. Blackmagic Media Express software comes free with every DeckLink card. Media Express lets you batch capture and playback 2D or even dual stream stereoscopic 3D in uncompressed YUV 4:2:2 and RGB 4:4:4 QuickTime, AVI and DPX, or compressed ProRes, DVCPRO and MJPEG files. DeckLink cards also include Blackmagic LiveKey and Blackmagic Disk Speed Test. I suspect there is a driver problem related to the USB-C hardware of the iMac Pro with the Bootcamp. Again, the mini recorder works fine on that machine using High Sierra, it's not a cable problem. I have all latest drivers and Blackmagic software on both the Mac High Sierra system and the Bootcamp running Windows 10 Pro (I am an IT professional). In the package of this UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3, you will get 2 SD cards that are included which contain these useful Blackmagic Design Applications: Media Express, Disk Speed Test, LiveKey, Blackmagic Desktop Video Utility and Blackmagic driver on Mac OS X/Windows 7, 8, and 10/Linux, and DaVinci Resolve (formerly known as DaVinci Resolve Lite).

I have purchased an Ultrastudio 3D as well as an Ultrastudio Express, with the goal of capturing a HDMI signal and recording it.
The HDMI signal is always from a desktop computer, or xbox360, or PS3, or Nintendo Wii. The intention is to capture video game footage.

I have 2 different Macbook Air computers that I have tried to connect the Ultrastudio's to and in all cases, I can not get the Ultrastudio(s) to receive ANY input. The capture screen is always black in any software package such as Adobe Premiere as well as BlackMagic Media Express.
I have the 9.6.2 drivers.

I have gone into the settings and tried to use every input selection without success. Not only can I not get input signal from the HDMI IN on the ultra studio(s), but I also tried to use the component 'in' as well and still nothing.
Since I am using 2 different machines to test this as well as 2 different Ultrastudio devices, I am led to believe that there is something I am not doing correctly to get it to work.

I just cant figure out what it is.I have checked the 'About This Mac' under 'more info' to see if the Thunderbolt devices are being recognized and the system sees the UltraStudio just fine. In BM Media Express, Ultrastudio shows up under 'Devices' and is checked.
I just can't get any video signal into the device for some reason.
